Leading an engineering team through the change

The job and the engineering organization need to change to take full advantage of these tools. A lot of that is a human alignment challenge. If you are a leader, your job is to get people working together in this new way.

Some people want to keep working the old way, and there are incentives to keep doing so. But I think the faster you can get your organization to understand what has changed and agree on how to work now, the less painful it will be long term.

I believe organizations that fail to make that change will be disrupted by organizations that do.
